Facebook recently updated its data use policies (again). Here’s what you should know.
When you sign up for Facebook you have to agree to their terms and conditions. By agreeing to the terms and conditions, you get to use Facebook.
By having, an account you have granted them permission to use everything you do on Facebook to monitor your interests, habits, friend activity, and usage. Of course, you own the information, however, one thing you can’t do–refuse to follow their terms and conditions. If you don’t like the terms, you have the right to deactivate your account (or not create one at all).
Regarding the ads, your name can be used in conjunction with any ad of their choosing. It will be promoted to your Facebook friends as they see fit.
